Football Staff Adds Langvardt

(Thursday, June 7; Sioux Center, Iowa) Dordt College head football coach Greg Youngblood has announced the hiring of Adam Langvardt to serve as an assistant football coach for the Defenders.
Langvardt has most recently been an assistant coach at Malone University in Canton, Ohio where he coached the defensive backs and he developed and implemented a strength and conditioning program for the football team.
Before coaching at Malone, Langvardt was the running backs and strength and conditioning coach at his alma mater, Sterling College (Kansas). Langvardt played running back for Sterling from 2004-2007.
Langvardt will be the special teams coordinator at Dordt College and will coach defensive backs.
Langvardt graduated Sterling with a degree in Exercise Science and Education and will complete work towards a Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership this December.
Along with his coaching duties Langvardt will be the director of strength and conditioning for Dordt College athletics and will teach in the Health and Human Performance department.
