Actor and martial arts champion Chuck Norris will appear with Republican gubernatorial candidate Bob Vander Plaats at 7:00 PM on Saturday, June 5, at the Hinton High School.
- Village Northwest Run, Walk & Roll Benefit -- 8:00 AM
Village Northwest’s Run, Walk & Roll Benefit will be held Saturday, June 5, beginning at 8:00 AM. The event includes a 5K race, 10K race and a 1 mile walk/roll. Entry fee is $20 if postmarked before May 26 and $30 after May 26. The Sioux Center Kiwanis Club will host an 18-Hole 4-Man Best-Ball Golf Tournament on Saturday, June 5, at the Ridge Golf Club. 8:00 AM shotgun start. Entry fee is $60 per person, which includes a breakfast sandwich. To register, contact The Ridge at 722-4866 or Brad at 441-6564 by June 1.
