- Grief Daycamp for Children -- 10:00 AM
Orange City Home Health & Hospice will host a day camp for grieving children on Saturday, April 28, from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM in the Health System downtown campus. Parents and caregivers will meet from 2:30 – 3:30 PM and then join the children for a balloon release. Pre-registration is required by April 20 by calling 737-5279.
- Artists' Reception -- 6:45 PM
Orange City Arts Council is hosting an art exhibit featuring the work of 26 Iowa watercolor artists. The exhibit will be on display at the Northwestern College DeWitt Theatre Arts Center through May 3. An artists’ reception will be held from 6:45 – 7:25 PM on Saturday, April 28.
- “Kings Men of Song” Performance -- 7:00 PM
The “Kings Men of Song” from Lynden, Washington will be presenting a joint concert with Valley Male Chorus at 7:00 PM at the Edgerton, Minnesota First Christian Reformed Church.
- Dordt College Choral Concert -- 7:30 PM
The Dordt College Choral Ensembles Concert will be presented at 7:30 PM on Saturday, April 28, in the B.J. Haan Auditorium.
- Enjoying Early Education Symposium -- 8:00 AM
“What Treasure We Find in a Child’s Mind” is the topic of the “Enjoying Early Education Symposium” to be held from 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM on Saturday, April 28, at the Le Mars Convention Center. Speakers, breakout sessions and lunch will be included throughout the day. Early Registration by April 15 is encouraged, although walk-ins are welcome the day of the symposium.
