- Halloween Candy Buy Back - Give Back -- 4:30 PM
Joiner Family Dentistry and Support Siouxland Soldiers are sponsoring a Halloween Candy Boy Back – Give Back. They will pay $1 per pound (up to 5 pounds) for your unopened Halloween candy. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Candy will be collected Tuesday, November 1 from 4:30 to 6:00 pm at Joiner Family Dentistry, 123 Albany Ave SE, Orange City. The candy will be used to make Holiday care packages to send to our Siouxland soldiers stationed overseas.
- Hospice Volunteer Training -- 5:00 PM
Orange City Area Health System is offering a 3-session Hospice Volunteer Training opportunity, beginning Tuesday, November 1. Sessions will be held 3 consecutive Tuesday’s from 5:00 – 9:00 PM in the Main Campus training room. Pre-register by October 28 by contacting Kim Jansma 737-5279.
- National Alliance on Mental Illness Support Group -- 7:00 PM
The National Alliance on Mental Illness Support Group will meet from 7:00 – 9:00 PM on Tuesday, November 1, in the Fireside Room of the Sioux Center Central Reformed Church. Individuals and family members coping with mental illness are invited to attend.
