    The Woodstock, Minnesota American Reformed Church will host a Gospel Concert from 2:00 – 5:00 PM on Sunday, October 3.  Come and go as you please throughout the afternoon.  Proceeds from the freewill offering will provide Bibles for New Life Treatment Center Clients.

  • Goheen Gallop -- 11:00 AM

    A 5K fun run called the Goheen Gallop will be held Saturday, October 16, beginning at 11:00 AM in the All Seasons Center parking lot, with registration preceding the run. The $15 race fee and donations will go to The Association for the Fight Against Poverty, an African agricultural mission outreach run by Dordt alumnus Dea Lieu.



  • Dordt College Prairie Dedication -- 11:00 AM

    A dedication ceremony for the new Dordt College Prairie will be held Saturday, October 16, at 11:00 AM in the Science Building lecture hall S101.  Prairie curator Dr. Robb De Haan and Dr. James C. Schaap will participate in the ceremony and lead an optional prairie walk after the program.



  • Dordt Jazz Band Concert -- 12:00 PM

    The Dordt College Jazz Band will offer a mini concert in the Campus Center at Noon on Saturday, October 16.

    Dr. Gregory Vanden Heuvel will present a public lecture about his work with kidney disease at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, October 19, in the Dordt College's Science and Technology Center lecture hall SB 101.  His topic will be "Polycystic Kidney Disease: Understanding the most common life-threatening genetic disease you've never heard of."

    Larry Stone, lead writer for the book “Iowa – Portrait of the Land”, will speak and show photos at 7:00 PMon Thursday, October 28, at the Orange City Public Library.  “Portrait” explores Iowa’s geological foundation, its natural communities, the history of its people, our precious wild places, the past abuse of our resources, and the challenges of sustaining this land that gives us life.
