“Break for Lunch” will meet at Noon on Tuesday, October 18, at the Sioux Center New Life Reformed Church. There will be a silent auction, and speaker will be Laurel Fantz Anderson, sharing her experiences as a mother, grandmother and Peace Corps volunteer. Cost is $7. The Sioux Center Community Hospital is hosting a “Brown Bag Luncheon” on Wednesday, October 19. The topic is “You Are Never Too Old To Immunize”, presented by Dr. Jason Koelewyn. To reserve a lunch, call 722-8260.
- Evening Especially for Women -- 5:15 PM
Orange City Area Health System will host an “Evening Especially for Women” on Tuesday, October 18, at the Sioux Golf & Country Club in Alton. Doors open at 5:15 for an appetizer buffet and a vendor display. Presentations begin at 6:00 PM. The cost is $10 per person. Tickets are available at the health system Emergency Room reception desk. Or orders with payment can be sent to Barb Den Herder at the Hospital.
