- Sanborn St. John’s Lutheran Church Roast Beef Dinner -- 5:00 PM
The Sanborn St. John’s Lutheran Church will host a Roast Beef Dinner on Thursday, October 16. Serving is from 5:00 -7:00 PM. Cost is $7 for adults, $3.50 for children ages 4 – 12, and free for those younger than 4.
- ATLAS Time of Prayer for the Community -- 7:00 PM
The ATLAS time of prayer for the community will be Thursday, October 16, from 7:00 – 9:00 PM at the Sioux Center First Reformed Chapel. Please come and go as your schedule allows.
- Republican Party Rally -- 7:00 PM
The Republican Party will hold a Rally at 7:00 PM on Thursday, October 16, at the Dordt College De Witt Gymnasium. Special Guest will be South Dakota Senator John Thune, speaking on behalf of candidate John McCain. Other guests may include Congressman Steve King, Senator Chuck Grassley, and other legislators. Doors open at 6:15, with photo ops available until 6:50 at a cost of $50 per picture. Freewill donations at the door will go towards the “Get Out the Vote” effort.
