- “Mothers of Preschoolers” Registration -- 11:00 AM
“Mothers of Preschoolers” will have a drive-through registration from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM on Thursday, August 25, at Sioux Center First Reformed Church. The first meeting will be from 9:00 – 11:00 AM on Thursday, September 8.
- Beef Facilities Tour -- 2:00 PM
A beef facilities tour and Beef Quality Assurance Training will take place near Holstein on Thursday, August 25. This free event includes a tour that begins at 2:00 PM, supper and BQA training from 7:00 – 8:30 PM. Call the Ida County Extension Office at 364-3003 by August 22 to register and get directions to the tour site.
- “Shepherd's Table” Free Banquet -- 6:30 PM
A “Shepherd's Table” Free Banquet will be served from 6:30 – 7:30 PM on Thursday, August 25, at the Orange City Living Water Church. Enjoy a free meal and take food home for yourself or to share with a neighbor in need. If you need a ride, call 441-3201.
- Mariachi Ameca Performance -- 7:00 PM
Mariachi Ameca, from Hawarden, will perform at the Orange City Windmill Park at 7:00 PM on Thursday, August 25.
- ATLAS Time of Prayer -- 7:00 PM
The ATLAS time of prayer for the community will be held from 7:00 – 9:00 PM on Thursday, August 25, at the Sioux Center 1st Reformed Church Chapel. Prayer focus will be Praise. Please come and go as your schedule allows. Kids Prayer Club for grades K-5 will meet from 7:00 – 8:00 in Room 200.
