- Babysitting Class
A Babysitting Class for anyone who has completed fifth grade will be held at the Orange City Health System main campus. Sessions are available from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM on Thursday May 31 or Friday June 1. Cost is $20 and includes noon lunch, snacks, and beverages. Pre-registration is required by Friday May 25 by calling 737-5260 or registering on-line at ocHealthSystem.org.
- USDA Reminder
The USDA’s Farm Service Agency reminds participants that Friday, June 1, is the enrollment deadline for the 2012 Direct & Counter-Cyclical Program and the Average Crop Revenue Election program.
- Absentee ballots
Absentee ballots are now available for those who plan to vote in the Primary Election on June 5. They can be obtained at the Sioux County Courthouse. A form to request a ballot be sent to you can be found on-line at SiouxCounty.org.
- Auditions for the Sheldon Community Theatre -- 7:00 PM
Auditions for the Sheldon Community Theatre’s performance of the “Pajama Game” will be held on Friday – June 1 from 7:00 – 9:00 PM at the Sheldon United Methodist Church.
