- Free "Community Unity Meal" -- 6:00 PM
A Free "Community Unity Meal" will be held from 6:00 – 7:30 PM on Thursday, May 12, at the Sioux Center New Life Reformed Church. Everyone is welcome to attend.
- “Peer-to-Peer” Recovery Education Class -- 7:00 PM
A free 10-week “Peer-to-Peer” Recovery Education Class for those recovering from mental illness is being offered by the National Alliance on Mental Illness. Classes will be held from 7:00 – 9:00 PM on Thursday evenings at the Sioux Center Public Library, with the first class to be held May 12. - Katelyn’s Fund Orphan Ministry Support Meeting -- 7:00 PM
Katelyn’s Fund Orphan Ministry will hold an adoption support meeting at 7:00 PM on Thursday, May 12, in the Fireside Room of the Sioux Center First Reformed Church. The topic will be foster care and adoption. Anyone is welcome to attend.
- ATLAS Time of Prayer -- 7:00 PM
The ATLAS time of prayer for the community will be held from 7:00 – 9:00 PM on Thursday, May 12, at the Sioux Center 1st Reformed Church Chapel. Prayer focus will be Repentance. Please come and go as your schedule allows.
- Conservation Workshop for Farm Women -- 8:30 AM
Women who own or manage farmland in Cherokee and neighboring counties are invited to participate in a free conservation discussion and field tour on Thursday, May 12, from 8:30 – 3:30 p.m. at the Cherokee County Conservation Board Headquarters.
