The Cornerstone Prison Church Benefit Banquet will be held on Monday, April 12, at the Rock Valley Trinity Christian Reformed Church. Doors open at 6:00 PM, with serving to start at 6:30 PM. The Valley Male Chorus will provide music, and the keynote speaker will be a former inmate. There is no charge for the meal, but a free will offering will be taken. Award-winning violinist Jessica Mathaes will present a guest recital in Northwestern’s Christ Chapel at 7:30 PM on Friday, April 16. Advance tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students, although one student will be admitted free with each paying adult. Tickets may be purchased at Northwestern’s music department, the Orange City Arts Council, Orange City banks and the Dove Christian Book Store. Cost at the door is $6 for adults and $4 for students.

One hundred percent of the profit from the event will be used to fund a summer mission trip and to purchase medical supplies for a medical clinic in Haiti. A freewill offering will be taken to help with travel expenses and medical supplies for Haiti.

- Presentation by Kansas City Chiefs Mascot -- 7:30 PM
K.C. Wolf, the official mascot of the Kansas City Chiefs, will make an appearance at 7:30 PM on Tuesday, April 20, in the Dordt College BJ Haan Auditorium. He has been an NFL mascot for 20 years. He will share his testimony of God's love and the joy of having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

The Maurice Town & Country Booster Club is sponsoring an All-You-Can-Eat Broasted Pork Chop Supper on Thursday, April 22. Serving is from 5:30 – 7:30 PM at the Maurice Community Center. The cost of the supper is $10.00. Children 4 years old and under eat free. There will also be a Bake Sale. Proceeds will go for community improvement projects.

Dordt College students who traveled to Nairobi, Kenya, during winter break will screen their videos this Thursday, April 29, at 8:00 PM in the Science Building lecture hall S101. They will share the hardships and challenges in Kenya, as well as the hope and future that various people are trying to spread there.
