- Mother’s Day Open House -- 10:00 AM
A Mother’s Day Open House, featuring Vee-Bella Jewelry, will be held from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM on Saturday, April 14, at the Bar-K Cattle Company Offices – located at 1275 7th Ave NE in the Sioux Center Industrial Park. Vee-bella gives at-risk women in Haiti, Mexico, and the United States the opportunity to work.
- Hope Haven Gospel Concert -- 6:30 PM
The Hope Haven Gospel Benefit Concert will be held at 6:30 PM on Saturday, April 14, at the Dordt College BJ Haan Auditorium. Featured groups will be “The Melody Boys Quartet”, “Master’s Voice” and “Journey Bound”. Tickets are $10 and will be sold at the door only.
- “Heart Walk” -- 8:30 AM
The Plymouth & Sioux County “Heart Walk” will take place at the Sioux Center Kinsey Elementary School on Saturday, April 14. Registration begins at 8:30 AM. Refreshments, educational information and a kid’s area will be available. For more information, contact Karen Schuiteman at 722-8113.
- "Go Green" Rummage Sale -- 9:00 AM
A “Go Green” Rummage Sale, to benefit the Sioux County Youth Fair, will be held Saturday, April 14, from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM in the Sioux County Fairgrounds multi-purpose building. Please bring your good, resalable clothing or household items to the fairgrounds multi-purpose room on Wednesday and Thursday, April 11 and 12.
