- "Calvinism For the 21st Century" Conference
A "Calvinism For the 21st Century" conference, hosted by The Andreas Center for Reformed Scholarship and Service, will be held on the campus of Dordt College April 8 – 10. A number of speakers will cover a vast array of topics. For more information, or to register, do to www.dordt.edu/events/calvinism. The registration deadline is March 22.
- “Keyed Into Abstinence” Presentation -- 7:00 PM
Parents are invited to attend a presentation on how to effectively communicate the message of abstinence and healthy relationships to teens. Scott Phelps, in conjunction with Bethany Christian Service’s “Keyed Into Abstinence” program, will speak at 7:00 PM on Thursday, April 8, in the meeting room of the Sioux Center Pizza Ranch.
- Katelyn's Fund Adoption Support Group Meeting -- 7:00 PM
Katelyn’s Fund Orphan Ministry will hold an adoption support meeting at 7:00 PM on Thursday, April 8, in the Fireside Room of the Sioux Center First Reformed Church. Speaker will be Kathy Brogan, adult adoptee who has found her birth family. Anyone is welcome to attend.
- ATLAS Time of Prayer for the Community -- 7:00 PM
The ATLAS time of prayer for the community will be held from 7:00 – 9:00 PM on Thursday, April 8, at the Sioux Center 1st Reformed Church Chapel. Prayer focus will be Intimacy. Please come and go as your schedule allows.
- “Reforming Public Theology” Lecture -- 7:30 PM
Dr. James K. A. Smith, professor of Philosophy at Calvin College, will give a lecture entitled “Reforming Public Theology: Two Kingdoms or Two Cities?” at 7:30 PM on Thursday, April 8, in the Dordt College BJ Haan Auditorium.
