- Astronomy Viewing Marathon
Dordt College's Physics and Astronomy Department invites the public to its rooftop observatory for a 100-hour astronomy marathon Thursday through Saturday, April 2 – 4. Evening observation hours at the Science and Technology Center will be 8:30 – 10:00 PM, and a day-time solar viewing will be Saturday from 1:00 – 3:00 PM.
- Youth Lock-In
On Friday, April 3, an all-youth lock-in is being held at the Inwood Christian Reformed Church. Activities include a concert by “Grindstone”. Youth need to be accompanied by an adult from their church. Cost is $10 per student. RSVP to 753-2669.
- "America's Natural Wonders" Travelogue -- 7:30 PM
America's Natural Wonders will be featured in a travelogue at Dordt College Friday, April 3, at 7:30 PM in the B.J. Haan Auditorium. Tickets can be purchased at the door: $4.50 for adults and $3.50 for students.
- “Two Altars, Ten Funerals” Performance -- 8:00 PM
The one-act play, “Two Altars, Ten Funerals” will be presented at 8:00 PM on April 2, 3, and 4 at Dordt College's New World Theatre. No advance reservations available. Admission is $2 at the door. The New World Theatre is located on the southwest corner of Dordt's campus, using the Fourth Avenue NE entrance.
