Orange City Home Health & Hospice is offering a Grief Support Group at 1:00 PM on five consecutive Thursday afternoons, beginning March 3, at Landsmeer Ridge Retirement Community. Pre-registration is required by February 28. Call Orange City Home Health & Hospice at 737-5279.
- "Baby, or No Baby" Workshop -- 6:45 PM
Orange City Area Health System is hosting a special evening entitled “Baby, or No Baby?” on Thursday, March 3. Doors open at 6:30, when light refreshments will be served. Discussions begin at 6:45 and include “Fertility Care” and “Preparing for & Enjoying a Healthy Pregnancy”. There is no charge to attend, but pre-registration is requested by February 28 by calling 737-5260.
- ATLAS Time of Prayer -- 7:00 PM
The ATLAS time of prayer for the community will be held from 7:00 – 9:00 PM on Thursday, March 3, at the Sioux Center 1st Reformed Church Chapel. Prayer focus will be Churches. Please come and go as your schedule allows.
- "Defining and Reading Comics for Grown-Ups" Presentation -- 7:30 PM
The lecture, “Sophisticated Geekery: Defining and Reading Comics for Grown-Ups,” will be presented by Julie Ooms, a Dordt alumna and current doctoral student at Baylor University. Her presentation will take place at 7:30 PM on Thursday, March 3, in the Dordt College Ribbens Academic Complex.
