- Grief Support Group -- 6:30 PM
Orange City Home Health & Hospice is offering a Grief Support Group which will meet at 6:30 PM on five consecutive Thursday evenings, beginning September 2. This free program will provide directed group support within an educational format. Pre‑registration is required by calling Orange City Home Health & Hospice at 737‑5279.
- “Family-to-Family” Course -- 7:00 PM
The National Alliance on Mental Illness “Family-to-Family” Course is being offered this fall. This free 12-week program of education and support for friends and families of persons with a mental illness will be held in the Sioux Center Public Library from 7:00 to 9:30 on Thursday evenings, beginning September 2. Class size is limited. Pre-registration can be made by calling Shirley at 722-4462.
- ATLAS Time of Prayer -- 7:00 PM

The ATLAS time of prayer for the community will be held from 7:00 – 9:00 PM on Thursday, September 2, at the Sioux Center 1st Reformed Church Chapel. Prayer focus will be Unity. Please come and go as your schedule allows.
